COMPASS
was formed in 1994 by few enthusiastic IT entrepreneurs.
COMPASS has aim to develop IT Industry in Eastern India,
especially in West Bengal to improve better trade practices.
Birth of COMPASS: It was approx 13 - 14
years back. Place was 25 Ganesh Chandra Avenue, Year
1993 - An Assembly of about 12 I.T Dealers of Kolkata
discussing the need of forming an association of I.T
Dealers who can look after their interest and Industry
too. After that in the very next year in 1994 assembly
of 19 I.T dealers meet at Lynton Hotel, and COMPASS was
conceived that day and lead has been given to Mr. K.L
Lalani, which was safely delivered on 9th June1994 means
COMPASS got registration under company Act.
