This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to payments made to Computer Association of Eastern India (COMPASS) for membership, event participation, sponsorship, or any other services offered by the association. By making a payment to COMPASS, you agree to abide by the terms mentioned below.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following modes of payment:
UPI / Net Banking
Debit Cards / Credit Cards
NEFT / RTGS
Cheques / Demand Drafts (subject to clearance)
Cash (only at COMPASS office, with proper receipt)
Bank details and payment instructions will be shared during the transaction or registration process, as applicable.
2. Membership Payments
Membership fees must be paid in full at the time of application or renewal.
Membership becomes active only after receipt and confirmation of the payment.
All membership fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the application is rejected by COMPASS, in which case the paid amount (excluding administrative charges, if any) will be refunded.
3. Event Payments
Event registration fees must be paid in advance to confirm participation.
Some events may have limited seats and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of payment.
Cancellation or refund policies for specific events will be mentioned in the event details or registration form.
4. Sponsorship & Advertisement Payments
Sponsorship packages and advertisements must be paid for as per the agreed-upon terms before the deliverables or branding are activated.
Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
5. Invoices & Receipts
An official invoice will be issued for all payments made to COMPASS.
Receipts will be emailed or provided in person upon confirmation of the transaction.
For any discrepancies in invoices, members must notify us within 7 days of receipt.
6. Late Payments
For renewals or other time-bound payments, late fees may be applicable as per COMPASS policy.
Repeated delays may lead to suspension or termination of membership or denial of service access.
7. Payment Disputes
If you believe a payment was made in error or there is a discrepancy, please contact us immediately at info@compassindia.com with payment details and relevant documentation. All claims must be raised within 7 working days of the transaction.
8. Changes to Payment Policy
COMPASS reserves the right to update or modify this Payment Policy at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
